The TED Program is a unique opportunity for educators in the United States and Europe to come together online for shared exploration and examination of various educational topics.
Such topics include global collaboration, supporting diverse learning needs, parental involvement, and technology in the classroom.
Fairfield Meneses will spend the next 10 weeks in a peer learning network, building global competency skills.
Fairfield Meneses said this professional development opportunity fuels her passion of lifelong learning.
“I love learning through conversation and the TED program is the perfect platform to build community with other educators,” Fairfield Meneses said.
Participation in this event is one of the state's most prestigious honors in high school music.

At District 202, we’re committed to nurturing a love for learning and supporting literacy initiatives across our schools. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Beanstack, a dynamic new platform that transforms reading into an adventure for our students!
With Beanstack, students will embark on a journey filled with fun and motivation, thanks to gamification, competition, and well-deserved recognition. Whether your student enjoys diving into thrilling fiction, exploring fascinating nonfiction, or flipping through graphic novels and online articles, every word they read matters.
Through daily reading logs on Beanstack’s web or mobile app, students can:
